From the lobby of the school to having its own store right outside the main building. Roar & Co. presented its grand opening November 12th with inspiration words from Mrs. Sayavan, Caleb Moniz, and Mr. and Mrs. Febres. Starting with the ribbon cutting held by pastor Ron and Sandy.
“The opening was really inspirational and heartwarming because you saw the results of the hard work that was put into it,” said Ava Wilson, 12th grade.
Mrs. Sayavan also took advantage of this celebration to staff members by giving them new purple shoes as a way to tie in this years’ theme of Dream Doers.
Mr. Febres also announced new long sleeve athletic shirts in both purple and white. This introduction was followed by food from a BBQ truck, Papa Diesel, and tours led by Roar and Co. employees. The teal store features books, uniforms, stickers, and accessories. Outside the store, Kaden Liatsos, Sydney Watkins, Niko Wilhelm, and Josiah Giles, presented their business of making necklaces, bracelets, and earrings called the Junky Jewelers. As well as Gigi Dottore’s business selling bows, clips, and more. The atmosphere was welcoming with music played live by Aiden O’connor, and Mr. Louis.
This store will help scholars and parents have easier access to buying uniforms, opens a place for students to sell things from their own business and support their friends who are selling products.
