A crispy pineapple pizza resting fresh out of the oven!

Conflict was brewing in the Grace Center early Friday morning as two scholars duked it out in the age old debate, does pineapple really belong on pizza? “Pizza is a savory food, and on the opposite end of the spectrum, pineapple is very sweet and sour, those flavors do not pair together!” Layla Hubler, 11th grade, shouted.

“Pineapple and pizza is the only combo you can refrigerate without it getting all weird and dry! Also, who hates sweet and savory; have you ever had a PB&J sandwich?” Sam Mc-Gill, 10th grade fired back.

So, I put my thinking cap on and brainstormed a way to settle this debate once and for all, to bring peace to the land of OSOTA. We live in a democracy, so why not let the people decide? That is where you come in dear reader, does pineapple belong on pizza? A delicious duo, or a culinary crime? The fate of culinary law is in your hands.
